Camper Spotlight- April 2024

Our April Camper Spotlight features Lilly and Brooke R! Lilly and Brooke bring positivity and kindness to Chippewa each summer. They are two caring and spirited girls who care about camp and those around them, and we love having them as a part of the CRC community. We can’t wait for them to be back in 2024 (and for many more years to come)! Thanks for all you bring to camp, Lilly and Brooke! Read below to learn more about Lilly and Brooke’s love of CRC and their life in the off-season.
What cabin were you in during the summer of 2023?
Lilly: Trailriders!
Brooke: Wagon Ridge!
How many summers have you been at camp?
Lilly: This summer will be my 5th year at Chippewa.
Brooke: This summer will be my 4th.
What do you love most about camp?
Lilly: I love the life long friendships I have made at camp and the countless memories made with all my friends.
Brooke: Hanging out with my cabin, trying new activities and swimming in the lake.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Lilly: My favorite subject is History of World Civilizations!
Brooke: Math.
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2023?
Lilly: Some of my favorite memories were 4th of July, Cabin Lip Syncs, and Realm!
Brooke: Realm, Town Day and Lip Sync.
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
Lilly: During the year, I am able to keep in touch with my camp friends by texting and calling them often and having cabin plans every few months.
Brooke: Hanging out or texting.
What activities do you participate in during the year?
Lilly: Throughout the school year I play tennis & lacrosse and am a part of clubs like Relay for Life, Lookbook Fashion Club, and Israeli Culture Club.
Brooke: Volleyball, basketball and flag football.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2024?
Lilly: This summer I am most looking forward to being in Lakeview and planning Fourth of July for everyone!!
Brooke: 4th of July and Pony Express!
Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
Lilly: I am so grateful to be a part of such a loving Chippy family. I love coming back to camp each summer and creating memories that will last a lifetime!
