Camper Spotlight- March 2024

Our March Camper Spotlight features Sydney B! Each summer, Sydney’s love of camp shines through in the constant and contagious smile on her face. Sydney gives 110% to her activities and camp programs, and she is a kind and thoughtful friend to all. Sydney brings laughter, compassion and spirit to CRC, and we are lucky to have her as a part of the Chippewa community. We can’t wait for her to be a part of #TheRanch2024! Read below to learn more about Sydney’s love of CRC and her life in the off-season.

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2023?
During the summer of 2023, I was in the cabin Timber Walk.

How many summers have you been at camp?
So far I have been at camp for 3 summers. This year will be my 4th summer at camp!

What do you love most about camp?
At camp I love meeting new people, trying new activities, and overall just being there.

What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2023?
My favorite memory from 2023 is when our cabin won Lip Sync (2nd session). I really enjoyed learning and performing the dance.

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
I usually use regular messaging or the Locket app.

What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is Reading Language Art (also know as RLAW).

What activities do you participate in during the year?
Some activities I have done this year (and last year) was tumbling, cheerleading, track and field, cross country, choir, madrigal, band, and learning to play the trombone.

What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2024?
I am looking forward to meeting new people, catching up with friends, and just being in the environment of camp! (Oh and don’t forget swimming!)
