Our February Camper Spotlight features Skye N! Skye is a camper who can always be found with a smile on her face. She is friendly, inclusive and enthusiastic, and she puts 110% into anything and everything that CRC has to offer. It is clear that Skye values her time at camp and takes pride in being a Chippy, and we absolutely love having her as a part of the Chippewa community! How many summers have you been at camp?
Three going on four :)
What do you love most about camp?
Spending the summer in the North Woods of Wisconsin and being in a totally different environment than what I’m used to all year long.
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2023?
When it was raining, my cabin and I spontaneously put on our bathing suits and we rushed to the tennis court and played in the rain!
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
FaceTiming, texting & through social media — and if I’m lucky, I get to actually see them face-to-face once in a while.
What is your favorite subject in school?
STEM - specifically Medical Detectives.
What activities do you participate in during the year?
Cheerleading, dance, tumbling & track.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2024?
Doing things I miss when I’m home like, reconnecting with my friends that live out of state, late-night cabin talks and jumping in the lake on a cold day!
