Staff Spotlight- September 2023

Our September Staff Spotlight features Emma Goldberg! Emma is a thoughtful and caring counselor who loves Chippewa and works hard to ensure that all campers at CRC have a great camp experience. She is enthusiastic about activities and programming, and brings fun and spirit to all that she does. We love having Emma as a part of our staff team. Thanks for all you bring to Chippewa, Emma! Read below to learn a bit more about Emma’s camp experiences and life in the off-season.

1. How many summers have you been at camp?
8 years.

2. What cabin were you in during the summer of 2023?
I was in Boots!

3. What is your favorite part about being a counselor at CRC?
I love bonding with my campers and helping them overcome challenges.

4. What was your favorite memory from the summer of 2023?
The Polar Plunge!

5. What is your favorite camp memory of all time?
The night before Fourth of July my Lakeview summer in 2021!

6. How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
I make sure to text them all the time, and make plans with them to hang out when we are free!

8. What are you most excited about for the summer of 2024?
I’m looking forward to being back together with my best friends and with my campers.

9. What do you do when you are not at camp?
I love hanging out with my family and friends, listening to music, and baking!

10. Anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
I am already counting down the days until summer 2024!
