Camper Spotlight- September 2022

Our September Camper Spotlight features Scout K! Scout is a friend to all, and a camper who brings silliness, enthusiasm and kindness to the CRC community. She is someone who is not afraid to be her authentic self, and whose confidence inspires others all across camp. Scout is a constant source of Chippy spirit, and we have loved watching her love for camp grow over the past several summers (and for many more summers to come!). What cabin were you in during the summer of 2022?
Trailriders!
How many summers have you been at camp?
2022 was my 6th year at camp.
What do you love most about camp?
The friends I’ve made, the time I get to spend with them and all the fun activities!
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2022?
After Sandstorm, me and 2 friends all put on 1 red tutu and were walking around camp in it!
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
I text and FaceTime with them, and sometimes they come to visit or I visit them.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2023?
Being in Lakeview with my best friends and having fun during my last year as a camper. And also planning the 4th and Chippy Awards!
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject is History.
What activities do you participate in during the year?
I play field hockey and lacrosse, and I am also doing Charity Drive, Animal Rights Club and DECA.
Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
It’s so fun to try new activities and reach out to new people because you never know who could end up being your best friend!
