Camper Spotlight- April 2022

Our April Camper Spotlight features Sydney L! Sydney is a kind and positive Chippy who is loved by the entire camp community. She always has a smile on her face and is enthusiastic about everything Chippewa. We love having Sydney at camp each summer and are looking forward to many more years with her! Read below to learn more about Sydney’s love of CRC and her life in the off-season.
What cabin were you in during the summer of 2021?
I was in Bowed Legs.
How many summers have you been at camp?
4- this will be my 5th summer!
What do you love most about camp?
Being with my best friends.
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2021?
One day we went out sailing when nobody else would because it was so windy. We were going so fast and it was so fun!
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
We FaceTime a lot, and this December some us got to visit each other. I also love when my Chippewa friends come to Chicago to visit!
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2022?
Being with my best friends again!
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is English.
What activities do you participate in during the year?
I do competitive dance at Off the Ground Dance Studio.
Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
I am so excited for camp!
