Our December Camper Spotlight features Emery S! Emery brings authenticity, enthusiasm, laughter and inclusivity to the CRC community. She is someone who brings the fun wherever she goes, and her love of camp is evident in the way she gives 100% to everything- including her friendships and camp programming. You rock, Emery! What cabin were you in during the summer of 2022?
Trailriders!
How many summers have you been at camp?
4 years.
What do you love most about camp?
I love Tan & White and doing activities with my favorite people every day!
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2022?
Going to Mackinac Island was one of the best memories I have ever had with all my camp friends.
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
I have all their phone numbers, and I frequently call them! My uncle also lives in Chicago, so it allows me to visit my friends when I am there seeing my family.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2023?
I am looking forward to designing 4th of July for the rest of the campers with all my best friends.
What is your favorite subject in school?
History.
What activities do you participate in during the year?
I participate in soccer and lacrosse, and I also have joined the environmental issues club at my school.
Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
I am so incredibly sad that this will be my last year as a camper, but I am so excited to spend these last moments with the people I love!
