Camper Spotlight- October 2022

Our October Camper Spotlight features Evah R! Although 2022 was Evah’s first year at CRC, she has already made such a positive impact on our camp community with her spirit, enthusiasm and friendly nature. Evah jumped right into camp life and made the most of her time at camp. We know that she has a long Chippewa career ahead of her and are so grateful to have her as a part of our camp community. You rock, Evah! Read below to learn more about Evah’s love of CRC and her life in the off-season.
What cabin were you in during the summer of 2022?
Boots & Saddles!
How many summers have you been at camp?
2022 was my 1st summer at camp.
What do you love most about camp?
The friendships I made!
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2022?
During Pirate Night our cabin started to bark at the pirates, trying to scare them off. Some of the pirates started to bark back at us!
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
We text CONSTANTLY.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2023?
I’m really exited to go for 8 weeks next year… and to participate in Realm!
What is your favorite subject in school?
I really like math.
What activities do you participate in during the year?
I’m on a basketball team and a swim team, and I also do theatrical performances at the JCC throught the year.
Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
My sister Stella and I felt really welcomed even though we were some of the only people from Texas. I can’t wait to see y’all next year! Love you guys!
