Camper Spotlight- February 2021

Our February Camper Spotlight features Avery F! During the summer, Avery has a non-stop smile on her face. Her happiness and love of Chippewa shine brightly, and she always goes out of her way to make sure that everyone around her is enjoying their camp experience as much as possible. We can’t wait to watch Avery’s Chippy spirit continue to grow in the summers to come! Read below to learn more about Avery’s love of CRC and her life in the off-season.
What cabin were you in during the summer of 2019?
I was in Circle C.
How many summers have you been at camp?
2 summers!
What do you love most about camp?
I love that that I can see my friends every day and make new ones, too!
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2019?
My favorite memory from the summer of 2019 was probably winning my first Tan and White and working together with the rest of the Tan team.
What did you do last summer to stay connected to the Chippewa community?
Last summer I had a summer backyard camp with a bunch of Chippy girls from my age group.
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
We text, and we FaceTime every so often.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2021?
My sister is coming to camp this summer and I think she will love Chippewa!
What is your favorite subject in school?
I like Math and English!
What activities do you participate in during the year?
I take dance and tennis.
Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
I really miss all you amazing campies and I can’t wait for the summer of 2021!
