Our October Camper Spotlight features Cate F! Cate is an all-around awesome camper who is always helping those around her find the fun at CRC. She is inclusive, down to try new things, and always has a huge smile on her face. It is clear that she loves camp, and we absolutely love that she chooses to spend her summers at Chippewa. We love having you as a part of our CRC family, Cate! Read below to learn more about Cate’s love of CRC and her life in the off-season.
What cabin were you in during the summer of 2021?
Last summer I was in Boots and Saddles.
How many summers have you been at camp?
5 years.
What do you love most about camp?
Seeing my friends from Illinois… and Tan & White!
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2021?
I loved the Fourth of July and Lip Sync.
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
I text them, call them, and connect with them through social media.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2022?
I am most looking forward to Camper Counselor Switch Day, Lip Sync, and the Fourth of July.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject is Spanish.
What activities do you participate in during the year?
During the school year, I dance.
Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
I am currently working on my Bat Mitzvah and it is in January.
