Our May Camper Spotlight features Cate M! Cate is a thoughtful and caring camper and friend. She is someone who finds genuine joy in making others happy, puts her all into everything she does and overall makes Chippewa a better place. And on top of that, at camp she can always be found with a giant smile across her face :). It is clear that Cate takes advantage of all of the opportunities and experiences that Chippewa has to offer, and she is an integral part of the Chippewa community. How many summers have you been at camp?
I have been at camp for 2 summers.
What do you miss most about camp?
Being with my friends.
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2019?
Lip Sync!
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2020?
Being with my friends and enjoying camp activities.
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
Facetime, text, and having plans.
What is your favorite subject in school?
Math.
What activities do you participate in during the year?
I am on the dance team at Soul 2 Sole and I take tennis and hebrew.
What have you been doing to stay busy during quarantine?
My sister and I started a sushi and poke business during quarantine called C&C Sushi and Poke. We feature different specialty rolls and poke bowls each week. I am in charge of supplies and orders and my sister covers menu development.
Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
I miss you guys!!
