Camper Spotlight- September 2019

The September Camper Spotlight features Sophie B! Sophie is an amazing camper who comes to CRC each summer all the way from California. She is a third generation Chippy who began camp as a camper in 2016 but was coming to camp before that for Family Camp…she literally has Chippewa in her blood. Sophie is a camper who truly loves everything Chippewa- she shows it in her enthusiasm for camp activities & programming as well as through her contagious smile that keeps all those around her as happy as she is. We love having Sophie at camp each summer and are looking forward to many, many future summers on Dam Lake with her! I was in Rafter^X.
How many summers have you been at camp?
Four amazing summers!
What do you miss most about camp?
I miss all of my friends and all of the staff!
What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2019?
I loved final banquet and especially the food trucks! I also loved Rafter^X awards!
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2020?
I am looking forward to seeing all of my friends, and to playing Realm of Ages!
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
We have a group chat with our whole cabin and our counselors.
What is your favorite subject in school?
I like P.E.
What activities do you participate in during the year?
I play soccer, basketball, volleyball, and softball. I also do Girl Scouts.
Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
I am counting down the days until TheRanch2020. I miss my Chippy family so much and can’t wait to see you all!
