Camper Spotlight- September 2017

This month’s Camper Spotlight features Sammy K. Sammy is from Columbus, OH, and is a camper that everyone knows around camp. She is spirited, funny and genuinely kind to all those around her. We have loved having Sammy at camp and feel like she has become a true Chippy girl who enjoys all aspects of CRC. Read below to learn more about Sammy and her camp experience…

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2017?
I was in Rafter^X.

How many summers have you been at camp?
This was my third summer at camp!

What do you miss most about camp?
I miss my cabin mates, Alexa Radis, Drip Drip Drop, the blob, the slide and the lake!

What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2017?
When Robisha and Otis got married at camp! I have a ring and everything!!

What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2018?
I am so excited to be spending more time at camp this year. I am there for eight weeks this summer! Also, I am excited to be in Songfest!!

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
We stay in touch by texting, emailing and musicly.

What is your favorite subject in school?
Math is my favorite!

What activities do you participate in during the year?
Tap, tennis, and Adopt-A-Family during the holidays!

Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
When I went to camp for the first time, I did not know anyone, and now I feel like I have made so many friends! I can’t wait for another SAVAGE summer!
