The Sari Diaries- Saturday 7/30/16

Friday, July 29 by Sari Hirsch

Dear Chippies, Parents, Family and Friends,

Stupendous is a decent way to describe the day we had here at CRC. We had fun morning until evening- there was a lot to fit into this day! Here are the exciting details…

We started the day with regular activities all around camp. I had the opportunity to cheer Reese S on as she flew down the zipline. Additionally, Grace F got up the wall in 19 seconds…pretty amazing! Meanwhile, at swimming, campers did swim-offs for both Kahuna Day and Pony Express. The swim staff was impressed with how many fast swimmers we have at camp this summer! In the theater, campers were rehearsing for “Aladdin,” which is this summer’s musical. Basically, anywhere I went around camp, I saw happy and active Chippies!

This evening, Camp Horseshoe came to #TheRanch2016 for our second session social. As always, our girls had an awesome time hanging with these guys. There are a ton of Chippy brothers at Horseshoe and lots of campers have school friends who go there. We had some good music, fried oreos and field games in the South Field. It was a cute scene out there and our girls had a blast!

That’s about all for us tonight. I apologize for the short post but am already looking forward to the next two days. Tomorrow is Songfest which is going to be a great show. Campers are excited for the performance and to feel all of their hard work pay-off. Then on Monday, we have Realm…the new Tan & White game…it is going to be crazy! Okay, thanks for reading- enjoy your evening!

Happy Camping and Love,
Sari
