This month’s Staff Spotlight features Hannah Cohen. Hannah will be a CIT this summer and we cannot wait to have her on staff. She has been an enthusiastic and kind Chippy throughout the past six summers and we know that her love for camp and good nature will make her an amazing counselor. Read below to learn all about Hannah’s camp experience!
How many summers have you been at camp?
I have been at camp for 6 summers.
What cabin were you in during the summer of 2015?
I was in Lakeview.
What is your favorite part about being a counselor at CRC?
Well I haven’t been a counselor yet, but I am so excited to get to know and create bonds with each and every one of my future campers.
What was your favorite memory from the summer of 2015?
My favorite memory from the summer of 2015 was getting to be a Kahuna Day captain for the team Pink Floyd. I had so much fun that day and I will always remember it.
What is your favorite camp memory of all time?
My favorite camp memory of all time was our Trailriders camping trip to Mackinac Island. We all had so much fun and it was definitely my favorite camping trip that I have been on.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2016?
I am really excited to have campers of my own and to also become closer with my age group.
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
I go to school with some of them and we text all the time.
What do you do when you are not at camp?
I am a sophomore at Deerfield High School and am on the swim team and the track and field team.

I am so excited to come back in 2016 and have the best summer yet!
