Camper Spotlight- February 2016

Sydney H is featured in our February Camper Spotlight. Sydney is from Cincinnati and is one of the great campers who has helped make Cincinnati a big Chippy city one again. At camp, Sydney is super-enthusiastic and always has a smile on her face. She is kind to her cabinmates and her counselors love having her in the cabin. She is a wonderful Chippy camper who we hope will be at camp for a very long time! Read below to learn more about Sydney and her camp experience…

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2015?
I was in Boots and Saddles.

How many summers have you been at camp?
I’ve spent two summers at camp.

What do you miss most about camp?
I miss all of my friends and counselors that I don’t get to see during the school year.

What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2015?
My favorite memory was getting to be U.N. Day captain for team Ireland. It was so much fun and I’ll always remember it.

What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2016?
I’m looking forward to re-uniting with all of my friends and just getting to get away from reality for a while to have some fun.

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
We all text each other video chat all the time.

What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subjects are reading and writing.

What activities do you participate in during the year?
I do dance almost every day and am currently in the midst of preparing for my Bat Mitzvah.

Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
I miss everyone so much and I can’t wait to see you this summer!
