The November Staff Spotlight features Rachel Rappaport! Rachel is an amazing counselor and member of the Chippewa community. As a younger camper, Rachel was well known for her performances on stage, specifically playing “Wild Thing” on her guitar. She was a fantastic camper and as a staff member continues to be extremely positive, thoughtful and spirited. Rachel is loved by her campers and is an awesome waterski instructor. We love having Rachel on our staff team and are looking forward to another amazing summer at CRC with her! Read below to learn more about Rachel’s camp experience…

This will be my 9th summer!

What is your favorite part about being a counselor at CRC?
Seeing my campers laugh, be silly, and have all of the same camp experiences I did.
What was your favorite memory from the summer of 2016?
Realm meetings with Cliff!
What is your favorite camp memory of all time?
Eating the watermelon after Pony Express CIT summer.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2017?
Driving ski boats!
How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
We are always texting in our group chat and we try to hang out as much as we can.
What do you do when you are not at camp?
I am on Student Council and Track and Field at Deerfield High School!
