Camper Spotlight- October 2016

Our October Camper Spotlight features Marni S! Marni is an amazing camper who is incredibly kind and enthusiastic! She can constantly be seen giggling with friends and enjoying every moment she spends at CRC. She is loved by campers and staff alike- just a true all around Chippy! What cabin were you in during the summer of 2016?
This past summer, I was in the cabin of Trailriders.

How many summers have you been at camp?
This summer will be my 6th summer at camp.

What do you miss most about camp?
I miss being with my best friends (and counselors) at our favorite, most special place.

What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2016?
My favorite memory of summer 2016 was when my friends and I decided to go outside in bathing suits and rain boots when it was raining outside to act like our Lucky-X selves… Don’t worry we were safe :).

What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2017?
I am most looking forward to the moment where I step off the bus and realize that I have the best 8 weeks ahead of me. I am also very excited to call my friends and I, the official Lakeview 2017.

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
My camp friends and I stay in touch during the year by texting and snapchatting. We also try to hang out pretty often. However, for the ones living far, we make an effort to see each other throughout the year when someone comes in town.

What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is geometry.

What activities do you participate in during the year?
During the school year I participate in Cross Country and Track & Field soon. I am also in Student Council and Key Club.
