Dear Chippies, Parents, Family and Friends,
Our day at #TheRanch2015 has been awesome and I am happy to report that the first day of activities was a blast. Below is a recap of the fun we had…
- This morning we all woke up to an exciting birthday quiz. Both Ally S and Becca K celebrated their birthdays today and the line was out the door to wish them a happy birthday. Wake-ups have gotten louder and longer as the summer has gone on but they have also become increasingly popular. Cliff has been Instagramming daily and the crowds tend to be pretty rowdy each morning!
- It was only the first day of activities but there were lots of accomplishments already being announced at lunch. Riley A, Rose B, Nicole L and Chloe B all became White Caps (the highest swim level), and Genna W and Sarah D were welcomed onto the Chippy Bat team. In other activity news, Oreo Balls were made at cooking and campers were excited to be sailing on Dam Lake.
- The Unity Club Carnival was better than ever tonight! Each cabin dressed in costumes and we all ran around the South Field playing different carnival games to win tickets. There was an obstacle course, a donut eating contest, and dance party and many other entertaining activities. The energy levels were high and as the evening came to a close, cabins sat in circles and prepared for the raffle. It was a cute scene to watch as they locked pinkies in hopes of winning various prizes.
So that was our wonderful day around here. We had a nice time and loved every second of our time today. Thanks for reading…check back tomorrow for an even more detailed documentation of the day’s events!
