The Sari Diaries- Tuesday 6/9/15

Dear Chippies, Parents, Family and Friends,

It was another great day at CRC! We are finally getting some summer temperatures and the staff is continuing to grow. Today, Morgan Levy (one of our Program Directors) and Anne Mitchell (out Trip Leader) arrived. Morgan just got back from a Birthright trip to Israel and Anne has just completed her Wilderness First Responder course. We are thrilled to have them both here and they have really jumped right into things.

It was quite the productive day all over camp. Duncan began training some of our boat drivers, the wall & ropes staff nearly completed their course, Luke and James worked hard building things and this evening we had our very first admin meeting (with Fradin Skyping in).

Tonight we took a staff outing to Cathy’s…the first official trip, and it was amazingly delicious. Everybody enjoyed their ice cream and it felt good to be back! We then returned to #TheRanch2015 and hung out in the staff retreat playing Pictionary Telephone (shout-out to alum Whitney Kreiter for sharing the game). It was lots of fun and there were plenty of laughs with the pictures drawn…let’s just say we are not all Picassos :).

Everybody is in bed early tonight to prepare for the beginning of lifeguard training, wall & ropes testing and an overall productive day tomorrow! The energy is quite high and as each day passes, we are getting more and more excited for June 22nd! That’s all for now, but have a great night!
