The Sari Diaries- Monday 6/8/15

Dear Chippies, Parents, Family and Friends,

It is hard to believe that the summer of 2015 is underway and that in less than two weeks CRC will be filled with what will without a doubt be the greatest group of campers and counselors to ever exist. Throughout the past couple of weeks we have had staff trickling in and today marks the official start of pre-pre-camp.

It is already obvious that this staff is going to be incredible. Most of the admin team has arrived, the wall & ropes training is in full swing and camp preparations are coming along really nicely. We have about thirty total staff members here and everybody is working hard and having fun.

Last night we had an awesome campfire (built by Jake) at the Center Fire Circle where we played balloon charades, took some excellent photos, ate s’mores and sang to Henry playing the guitar. Tonight’s evening program included a trip to Eagle River for Staff Laser Tag. It was a ton of fun!

Seeing as this is the first Sari Diaries of 2015, I thought I would let everyone know that the official hashtag of the summer will be #TheRanch2015. We will use it on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (be sure to follow us on all of these sites) and we encourage you to do the same for your Chippewa-related posts.
