Camper Spotlight- May 2015

This month’s Camper Spotlight features Caroline H! Caroline is from LA and we absolutely love having her at camp. She is incredibly friendly and loved by all of campers and staff. She is also an excellent rider and a camper who is extremely helpful at the stables. In addition to all of this, Caroline is a true Chippy girl who is well rounded and fun! Read below to learn all about this awesome camper!

What cabin were you in during the summer of 2014?
I was in the cabin Horseshoe Range.

How many summers have you been at camp?
This year will be my 4th summer!

What do you miss most about camp?
I miss my incredible friends when I am home in Los Angeles. I try to visit Chicago as much as possible so I can see them!

What is your favorite memory from the summer of 2014?
My favorite memory of last summer was the very last day of camp. A couple days earlier I had competed in the annual Miss Rodeo Horse Show. That night, I found out I had won!! I was ecstatic and so honored because I know Miss Rodeo is one of Chippewa’s very old traditions.

What are you most looking forward to in the summer of 2015?
This summer my two younger sisters, Amanda and Lizzie, will be joining me at camp! I cannot wait to watch them experience the magic made at Chippewa.

How do you stay in touch with your camp friends during the year?
During the year, I travel to Chicago as much as possible to hang out with my friends. We text almost every day and Facetime a lot!!!

What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school is math because I sometimes find it challenging but it’s a great feeling when you get the right answer.

What activities do you participate in during the year?
Throughout the school year, I take several dance classes and participate in dance competitions around LA.

Is there anything else you want to share with your Chippy family?
I absolutely cannot wait for the summer of 2015 and I’ll see you all at camp!
