Parents are cordially invited to visit camp on the weekend of July 11-12. The gates will open to parents on Friday evening, July 11, at 7:01 p.m. You will have about an hour to visit with your daughter and meet her cabin mates and counselors. At 7:59 p.m. we will have our annual song and dance show in the theater. After the show, coffee, juice, and refreshments will be served in the lodge. We will ask that everyone say goodnight at 9:30 p.m.
Parents may arrive on Saturday, July 12, at 9:30 a.m. We will run normal morning activities and you can watch your daughter "in action." Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon , buffet style, and seating will be on an informal basis. In the afternoon parents are welcome to participate in some activities with their daughter-sailing, skiing, swimming, tennis etc. Parents who would like to take their daughter out of camp may do so after lunch (we do ask that you stay for lunch…thanks).
Visiting weekend
Many parents will not be visiting and we make sure that those campers are provided a town trip on Saturday. They are accompanied by staff into town, and traditionally they have a great time. The first session campers will be heading home on Saturday, and the second session campers will arrive on Sunday, July 15. Those parents picking up or bringing their daughters to camp are naturally welcome to participate in the full parent's weekend. Many four-week campers will be taking the bus round-trip.
Please note: 8 weeker parents may take their girls over night on Saturday evening. We ask that you have them back between 10:30 and 11:30 Sunday for the 2nd session camper arrival.
2nd session NEW CAMPERS can be brought in to camp by their parents between 9:30 and 10:00 on Sunday morning. Parents will be asked to leave by 10:15.
